It's about time I updated this blog! Little Brynn joined us on September 7th, 2010! She's so sweet and just turned 4 months! We had some tummy issues with her, but I think just getting over the 3 month mark helped her so much! Evan is very sweet to her and calls her "bebe sissy!"

I am 37 weeks & have my sonogram this Friday, to see if Brynn is "in position." I had a surprise "sprinkle" with a few close friends this past weekend!:) What wonderful friends I have here in Kansas City! We anxiously await Brynn's arrival....in the meantime..I am NESTING!:) Every room gets something done to it..even if it's just a cleaning!:)

I am about 26 weeks pregnant with our sweet pea, Brynn. After many changes of the spelling of her name (Brynne, Bryn) We have Brynn as the top contender! I LOVE IT!

It's welsh and means "little drop of water." I had a dr. appt. on Friday and I passed my glucose test....thank goodness...I was worried because the nurse said that if you develop gaestational diabetes while pregnant, you are more likely to develop it later in life. So that was a relief to pass! The dr. said all looks good..so to keep doing what I am doing (which is eating what I what and a walking with Evan.:) I am attaching a pic of a DKNY onesie I bought YEARS ago and have been holding onto..now I get to dress my little girl in it!:) Can not wait..it's so

soft and a speckled white/pink color!

We got back from our California trip about a month ago & we had a FABULOUS time. It was so hard to come back! We explored San Fran for 6 days and then headed to wine country...Healdsburg. Doug & I had been there on our own & loved it and always knew we'd be back one day. So our 2 days there were wonderful! We ate at Willi's Seafood twice bc everyone loved it! Then we saw Jackopierce play at the Donatiello Vineyard our last night..it was awesome, as I expected!:)

WOW! This blog has gone under the radar! I am here to update! Evan Michael turned 1 on Feb 17th and we had a wonderful party for him at my parents house! He had a blast with all the other kids! AND now for some exciting news...we're expecting baby #2 this fall. Our due date is Sept. 14th! We have SO many September birthdays, I can barely keep track! I am wondering if I get in good with my new doctor, if she'll induce me on Sept 9th, which is my "baby" brother's birthday! How cool would that be! Hopefully Bryce will be at the hospital, no matter what the date is, as he was here for the birth of Evan. Him and my parents were the first to hold Evan after me & Doug. It was a very special time and I hope we can all gather again for baby #2! :)

Oh wow, I am so behind the times with this blog. I need to find a few minutes a day to update it!:) But here I am! Evan is 14 weeks old today! He rolled over for the first time. We were at my parents house doing "tummy time" and there he went! It was awesome..my mom & I were yelling for my dad to come watch..but he only did it once, of course!:)

The moment that I met Evan for the first time was my happiest moment, as I finally saw our lil' miracle. Delivering Evan was very humbling and I am now one of those moms who wants to share their labor story with everyone!:)

I see Doug in Evan more and more with each passing day! I call him, Evan the owl, because of his cute and crazy blonde spiky hair! :)

He was 1 week old yesterday! This past week has been the hardest week of my life, but also the most rewarding! When he falls asleep in my arms, it melts my heart! Taking care of him will be the most important role I will ever take on.

I can't wait for Evan to meet all of his family and friends who have been so loving and supportive the past 9 months!

We welcomed home our sweet baby boy, Evan Michael on Feb 19th. He was born 2-17-09 at 11:37am. We are so happy & love getting to know our newest friend!

Just giving a shout out to Doug.

He's working so hard to get us moved into our house. He painted Evan's room, our guest room, and laid tile in our bathroom! He's also working at the bank 8-5 and still keeping up with his investment properties.

My belly is growing! We can now SEE Evan moving around in my tum-tum! We're taking childbirth prep classes now. About 3 more months to go!

I decided to start a "family" blog for Doug & I....to keep everyone updated on our new baby & our new house!:) We just had a wonderful weekend on November 1st, renewing our vows & partying with our family & friends! Thank you everyone who helped us celebrate!
